Project Description

Brief

This unit was situated in the shopping centre, on the first floor, and was to become a high-end opticians with a large designer retail display.

Again, similarly to our Gstar Raw Clothing unit project, logistics and paperwork (Risk assessments & Method Statement) were very complicated, but the job was carried out and completed within the established timeframe.

Project

The client’s existing retail unit (approx. 140 SQM-large) involved a complete strip-out initially.

We were required to create a bright, airy environment within the retail area, with bespoke joinery throughout, which included display units for glasses and an impressively shaped counter.

We also needed to implement partitioning and create a regulation testing room with the client’s own specialist machinery integrated.

An important aspect of the overall design was ceramic flooring, lighting and some other unique elements like the damask wall coverings in some areas and the double-sided tropical fish tank.

The external signage was also taken care of through the incorporation of the client’s new branding.

Completed within the agreed timescale.
